I am a Security Solutions Architect and an active builder. Over a 20-year career, I have learned that great security makes a business move faster. From partnering with engineering teams to automate deployment pipelines, to collaborating with go-to-market teams to build customer trust, I help the entire organization move at top speed and launch safely.
Currently, I am the core maintainer of **Jula Controls**, an open-source engine that automates GRC evidence collection and cryptographic attestation. I treat security as an engineering optimization problem: the goal is to clear the road so developers can move fast while giving customers verifiable assurance of infrastructure controls.
Previously, as Head of Cybersecurity at Closinglock, I oversaw the security strategy for a Series B PropTech platform securing billions in real estate transactions, where I built trust portals that reduced customer security questionnaire turnaround from 40 hours to 2 hours. Alongside past roles as a Staff Security Engineer at Tesla and a Global Consultant at IBM, my work is defined by building frictionless security programs that align technical hardening directly with business enablement.
This approach is backed by both offensive and defensive rigor, holding certifications like CISSP, CISM, OSCP, and OSCE. I share the tactical lessons from that work in the essays below. If you want to chat about Security Architecture or Lean GRC, connect with me on LinkedIn.
